If you are interested in a place for your child, please call the setting to make sure there is a space for your child. One of the managers will then send you a registration form, fees and answer any questions that you may have.

At the moment we are only doing show arounds after the setting has closed, this is to keep the children that we care for as safe as possible while still allowing you the chance to see the setting in person. We understand that you may wish to see how our staff interact with the children so please speak to a member of the management team to see if they are able to help you.

The free entitlement is term time only (38 weeks). The maximum number of hours parents can claim is 15 hours per week for 38 weeks.

When you claim Free Entitlement Funding (FEF) in your first term, please complete the Parent Declaration Form and return it to the Office. You can ask for a form from the office, or find it below.

FEF stands for Free Entitlement Funding and is a government scheme which allows Wakoos to offer up to 15 hours of free childcare each week during 38 weeks of the year.

These hours are offered as:

2 days = 9.00-3.00 and

1 day (Monday/Friday) = 9.00-12.00



Wakoos are delighted to be offering our families the government's increased free childcare funding for eligible children aged 3 -5 years.

We will be offering this all year round for 22 hours per week.

Theses hours are offered as:

2 days = 9.00-5.00 and

1 day = 9.00-3.00

Wakoos can also offer this as 30 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year.

These hours are offered as:

5 days 9.00-3.00 or

3 days 8.00-6.00

These sessions are all fully inclusive of nappies, wipes and any consumables.

Additional hours can be booked at the normal hourly fee rate.

Children are eligible for Free Entitlement Funding from the first term after the date they turn 3 years old until the last term before they attend school.

• Children born between 1 January — 31 March become eligible in Summer term (May — Aug)
• Children born between 1 April — 31 August become eligible in Autumn Term (Sept — Dec)
• Children born between 1 September — 31 December become eligible in Spring Term (Jan — Apr)
