WAKOOS Centre4Children is a registered charity, and our volunteer committee plays a vital role in helping us provide high-quality childcare for local families while keeping our services accessible and affordable.

We are always looking for enthusiastic people to join our Board of Trustees. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, local professional or simply someone who wants to make a positive difference in the community, we'd love to hear from you.

Our trustees help shape the future of WAKOOS by providing strategic guidance, ensuring the charity is well governed, and supporting our leadership team. Together, the committee helps safeguard our values, oversee the charity's resources and ensure we continue to provide the best possible care and education for children.

No previous trustee experience is necessary. We welcome people from a wide range of backgrounds, skills and experiences, and full support is provided.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is usually held each November and is open to everyone. During the meeting, we reflect on the past year, celebrate our achievements, discuss future plans and elect trustees to committee roles.
